She sat down gracefully, taking out a brush and inkpot, and unrolled a length of paper, and began practicing her caligraphy with ease. Akane was a geisha, although she had not had a customer in a long time, which was not good, considering the debt she owed to her Okaa-san. Sighing, Akane gracefully drew the brush down the paper, writing with liquid grace, she hummed a tune to herself.

Kaiyo was walking down the hallway, she was spaced out as usual thinking of what was to come when she finally sold her... sweet bun, as Okaa-san had told her. She fidgeted, nervous still as she paused at one of the other Geisha's doors. She knocked softly and kept her head bowed down respectably. She was smart and knew that experienced Geisha's deserved her full respect, especially if she was going to be asking them questions.

Akane blinked, accidentally messing up a symbol. Shrugging it off, she put the paper and inkpot away, and stood, brushing her kimono off gently, she sat back down, her soft blue gaze warm and welcoming. "Enter" She called to her closed door, wondering who would distrupt her quiet time, although, quite honestly, she didnt' mind, Akane loved company.

Kaiyo slid the door opened and bowed her head to the other girl. "Ohayo. I'm sorry to bother you but I... I would like to talk to you about something since I am still a maiko." she whispered softly, keeping her silver eyes down cast. Her black hair was pulled back into a tight bun a few wisps fell into her pale face but she gently pushed them back.
